Attendance when the internet drops

The Android app can keep attendance events locally when the API is unreachable, then send them later. The queue is capped (about 50 items) and aged out after roughly seven days.

Basements, poor mobile data, and office WANs that block APIs are common. The important trade-off: queued auto events are not SSID-checked on the server, so the queue is a reliability feature, not a strict location proof.

Attendance when the internet drops

IK / yönetici

Expect some events to appear minutes later. Do not treat delayed sync as fraud by itself.

Çalışan

Keep the app installed; punch or WiFi events still record locally.

Dürüst sınırlar

Not infinite storage. Not an encrypted enterprise MDM vault — it is the product’s documented local queue.

Nasıl çalışır

  1. 1

    Event fails to reach API

The app stores it locally with source queued.

  2. 2

    Connection returns

    The queue drains in order.

  3. 3

    Dashboard updates

HR sees the punches with their original times.

SSS

Queued auto events skip SSID validation. That exception is intentional so the queue is usable.

About seven days, with a maximum list size of fifty.
